Fundraising
Thame Dollshouse and Miniatures Fair will again be supporting Breast Cancer Campaign.
At the fair on February 23rd 2013 there will again be a fantastic raffle of items donated by standholders and other professional miniaturists. At the 2012 event there were more than 30 prizes, and the raffle raised over £500. To see the prizes donated so far for the 2013 raffle go to KT miniatures. The list will be constantly updated as more prizes come in, so keep checking
There will also be the very popular sales table, with a huge variety of miniatures items all of which are donated. This table is a wonderful place to grab a bargain whilst supporting Breast Cancer Campaign, as all the money raised goes to the charity. In 2012 the sales table raised over £1600.
There will again be the famous ‘Miniatures Tombola’ with hundreds of prizes made and donated by members of MTM (Market Town Miniatures), the Thame miniatures club, and other miniaturists.
For children, and anyone else who wants to ‘have a go’ there will be a ‘Tiny Teddy Hunt’, with a prize for the first correct answer drawn at the end of the day.
There will also be a street collection in Thame High Street, so if you go into the Town Centre for a coffee or lunch at one of the many coffee shops you will also be able to donate there!
The total raised for Breast Cancer Campaign at the 2012 fair was a staggering £3209.23, including the street collection.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, in whatever way – stand holders, visitors, helpers, and donors. We would not have raised this amazing sum of money without all of you! We would love to match or even exceed that figure in 2013 – please come along to this wonderful event and help us to do so.
